Default 600cc bike. 636,cbr,gsxr,r6 an similar

ok guys with gas prices lookin the way they do and a 70+ mile commute everyday along with the great socal weather I have decided to buy another bike. I am looking for a 600cc or close sports bike only. 2000-2006 would prefer fuel injected and california approved. mainly interested in 636, cbr600f4 or rr and r6. will consider up to a 750 or down to a 500 if the title is clean the mileage looks right and the bike is in good shape. will not consider liter bikes or anything smaller then 500. price range up to 4500$. lets see what you guys are trying to sell. let me know guys thanks

Your cost of insuring the bike, purchasing another bike, and doing necessary maintenance will cost more than what you're currently paying in gas... I commute 90 a day and that's the conclusion I've reached after crunching the numbers to be honest... I'm guessing you still have your old riding gear? Even still you're going to pay more in the long run really only saving mileage on your car...

I speculate that Gas prices will drop shortly being that the Iran situation is getting under control and gas prices have maintained the past few days...Just my thought but good luck if you decide to go this route regardless...

I been kicking around the idea of turning the car into a project so I wouldn't be driving it or have it covered on my insurance so it would be cheaper for me there. Also as I would be paying cash for the bike my insurance would be cheap there as well. I still have my old riding gear yes an a very clean driving record so my insurance would be super cheap either way. That's also y I'm only interested in the 600s as well. Get pretty decent mileage if you can be nice to them an most of my commute is 50-60 mph back roads anyways. Plus it would be nice to ride again either way. I really miss it and the wife's been telling me no to another bike for a while now and I finally got the go ahead so id like to take advantage of that before she changes her mind lol.
