Default Nurburgring meet/trackday 2012

OK, just came from the Francorchamps Subaru Trackday event and had a blast, wish there were a way to set up something similar, but I don't have any close contacts/vendors in the area. But we could all just pick a date and have a blast on our own. Here is the link to all the 2012 tourist dates, hope we could all come up with a date:

Just throw out some ideas!!!

Depending on people's block leave days and USAREUR four days coming up. It's a lot safer to hit the ring on weekday events, Every Saturday and Sunday I have hit up have been very busy. Now there's more exotic and crazy cars to,drool over, but is just packed on the track. We got a few of us that plan to hit it hard starting end of may. With it being a 4 hour drive, it's gotta be guaranteed good weather.

Last summer we started hitting it with 2 day trips. We were staying in either ramstien or Koblenz and knock out laps and checking the cars then rest and repair then hit more laps the 2 day then convoy back in afternoon.

I have to such further back in the threads but there was a soldier near ramstien offering to hold gatherings/meets and house guys prior to hitting laps.

I know its a little far out there, how bout a 4th of july time-frame, we could actually extend the invitation out to others, and have plenty of time to prepare for it. Its just a thought, we could def do it sooner though.

I think this is all an excellent idea. I'm totally interested in joining you all. I think brranger has the right idea as far as days to go. I went on a Saturday and it was quite packed, not to the point of not enjoying it, but you had to be on your toes during passing sections.

We'll have a 2010 GTR for sale at DC Auto soon. Just saying. I would give my wrxsti and xc90 up for it in a heart beat. But wife would be angry

I rode passenger in a 2009 m3 from a Israel news reporter that had over 500 laps. He drove the **** out of the m3 rental and put down a very quick lap. And it looked effortless. I feel like I workout shifting and counting steering thru turns

I'd give up my GI bill for that. Before he bought the GT-R, he was driving the black Z06, sold it for 50k.

i dig the M3's, just not so much you can do with them.
