Lightbulb Need a Photoshop Specialist

Only the trully skilled need apply because I have an unusual request:

I have been researching parts I want for my future WRX (STi hopefully) and I pretty much have the final idea what i want it to look like. I need someone to photo chop these ideas together so i can get a picture of my plan coming together. Thanks, Mal

Start with this picture for the car and the hood. Remove the sideskirts and the rear bumper cover. Paint the wheels white. www.aqua-fsp.com/news/images/op17_a.jpg

Use this front end and lip. www.poweraxel.com/sti/news/news2001/sti01010.html

I need this rear wing. It is the same wing found on the link above if that helps any. Paint the wing itself white. Leave the supports black. www.i-club.com/gallery/tokyo_auto_salon_01/sti3.jpg

Finally, if possible squeeze in this Front mount intercooler. www.i-club.com/gallery/tokyo_auto_salon_01/jun3.jpg

This is alot I know and again I thank you for your help. I would do it myself but i don't have a photo editing program.
Have I thanked you enough? No, well thanks,

Mal

That's not a favor, it's a graduate project for your BA degree. I'll see what I can do (no promises, my art department is slammed with work right now)

Yeah that is a lot of work. You did a good job by providing the pictures instead of making people search for them....

But the pics are kinda smallish and are in different lighting conditions (indoor, outdoor, colored lights, etc etc)

The higher res a pic, the better for photochopping. The closer the lighting matches between pics, the better for photochopping.

Sorry I can't help, my RSI is being a pain this week.

You don't need a Photoshop specialist, you need a magician!

The pictures are all at different angles!

KC,

Thanks its close. I knew it would be hard and I tried to get the angles of the pics and the perspectives similar. I guess I didn't do well enough. But beggars can't be choosers so I'll take the best you guys can dish out.

Try this one on for size.

<IMG SRC="http://www.clevetourclub.org/cars/custom.jpg" border=0>

Kind of limited with the low resolution images and the color blue being kind of tricky to make it look white as well as the dark wheels not having any color in them. The perspective on each photo is very different and it took some major distortion to make it fit. Tried my best for late a night after a long week. Bored with TV. Hope this helps.

Check mine out, let me know if this is what you're looking for. I'd post it, but i can never get my jpg's under 20k for some reason (that's really small, dumb rule).

litespeed,

I like the way you think. The WRX looks very clean w/o all the stickers. Just the look I want. All the parts are genuine STi (except for the hood and wheels). And when the STi comes to America, I want to keep it as close to STi as possible. I like the stealth race car look. I want to be able to blow people's doors off but they not know it till its too late. I like the wheels. They look almost chrome. But I think I'm gonna go with white.

Ippon
You have been the closest so far, as far as showing what I want in the proper perspective. You win the title "Photochop Specialist" unless someone else can top you. I wanted the wing white. But you let me see it will look just fine if I don't pay the extra dollars to paint over the carbon fiber. The black carbon fiber mirrors will probably look cool too with dark tinted windows all around. The way you did the front end made me pay more attention to the clear STi fog light covers. I think I want some now with those white letters. That way, aerodynamicly, my lights can be covered for better air flow. But my lights will still be functional at night. I'm going to the STi site and make sure they have those covers. I'm not going to use my front license plate. I don't want to block my planned front mount intercoller.

Thanks guys (or gals if that is the case). You have saved me alot of guess work and expensive trial and error ordering. Ippon, I saved your pic as my wallpaper so I can use it when it's time to modify my car. I don't want to forget the look or get distracted by all the other external goodies the aftermarket comes out with.

I figured I'd give it a try...

There are a few things still wrong with it, but it should pass for visualization's sake...

(note the "custom" intercooler )

Simon,

Thanks that looks awsome. Just the look I want. The whole car has been changed by just a few external mods. The wing isn't right but that is ok. The real STi wing, with its lower profile, should look just as good. I love the custom intercooler. STi all in your face.

You guys are great. The problem now is I won't be able to surprise anyone on this board when I get this done. Oh well you can't have it all.

Hey if anybody is interested in photo chopped concepts, check out my web sight. I've done some serious photochopping, all of my kits are concepts, but if you got enough $$$$ i can have my buddy do a one of fiberglass kit for you... once again that is serious $$$$. Im also pretty skilled with my hand done stuff, check out the bike i did by hand, its sick. I have a Subaru AWX (thats right AWX concept car) designed by me... only probelm is i gotta scan it. The name AWX is derived from WRX but its a mid-engine V8 twin turbo, all-wheel drive viper killer. If you guys wanna see it bad enough I'll take the time to scan and post it. Otherwise, peep my photochopin at http://www.drewsconcepts.com

DREW

PS: try my car quiz, and let me know your scores.
