looking to get some wheels that ive been stripping the paint off of sandblasted, beedblasted, glassblasted, whatever you'd like to call it. they are forged aluminum. lmk if you have any ideas. Alaska custom powder coatings wanted $90 per wheel.
, they said they would blast them with glass because of the soft aluminum.Gabe |

I blasted my BBS's myself. I only did it because I was trying out different paints trying to get a specific look and after 4 go arounds of painting and stripping I blasted my wheels. You are more than welcome to swing by and take a look at them. I wouldn't recommend doing it.

Glass, I'm pretty sure the line pressure at the shop is 90.

Tri Jet here in Palmer is where I send most of my stuff for blasting and powdercoating. The last set of wheels I had done was about $250 all said and done. These were steel wheels with the beadlock rings done in a different color, so more time and material.
I had a Wilton bench vise blasted last week and it cost $40 |
