Default Reverse lockout rattle after sts install

I installed a Kartboy 6MT short throw shifter in my 2008 Spec.B over the weekend and now I have a very annoying rattle from the reverse lockout.

I saw a thread where someone used Dynamat to stop the rattling but I don't have any of that. I'm thinking I could use electrical tape but read another thread where someone claimed to use that and it didn't help.

Has anyone else fixed this issue?

Did adjust the cable. The adjuster screw is mounted to the bracket at the front of the linkage and also there is a metal tab on the linkage which holds the cable in place just might need some adjusting

Also make sure you swapped over the rubber donut on the bottom of the OE shifter. Along with a nice coating of grease on the shaft
