Default Fuel line configuration

Trying to finish up my swap and I am a bit confused on the fuel line routing/configuration.

The car is a 2001 L coupe with an 07 STi swap.

The OEM hard lines the exit the firewall @ the drivers side strut tower are what I need clarification on.

I know the bottom most line is the feed/pressure line, what I need to know is which of the other 2 (middle or top) is the return line?

On the 06 STi service manual I have, it shows:

Bottom line > FEED
Middle Line > EVAP
Top Line > RETURN

I need to know if the earlier Impreza's followed this same convention?

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

You've got it right, they are the same.

The grey top line on the chassis is the return line. Middle blue is the EVAP.

Thank you so much for the fast reply brother, much appreciated!

Are most guys with swaps using the original RS filter @ the strut tower to make the connections to the STi/WRX manifold fuel lines?

With my 02 WRX swap I used the strut tower filter, which the 02 WRX used as well. With my STI swap I used the in tank filter because I swapped the STI tank to avoid any CELs since it's got an extra sensor on the tank the GCs didn't have. People do use the strut tower filters on STI swaps though.

As per the other thread, that guy has his lines correct. They swap going from the chassis to the engine.

Delivery = top engine / bottom chassis
Return = middle engine / top chassis
EVAP = bottom engine / middle chassis
