Default Window problem

First off this was ment to be (11'+) but it went to (93'-01') for some stupid reason. Well I'm 3300 miles in on my 2012 and I just now noticed that my "automatic" drivers window up and down function doesn't work. I noticed it never autoed up but I just now realized it didn't auto down either. Window goes up and down just fine but the "auto" function doesn't work. Anyone else encountered this problem? Limited sport model

Try starting with the window half open, and holding up for several seconds until after the window closes. You'll hear a click in the door.

Had the same issue the other day after I pulled the battery. Was about to take it back to the dealer but checked the manual first. Wtf is the reason for disabling the auto window after power loss? That is dumb lol

It probably has something to do with the computer forgetting the motor's current draw characteristics. If it doesn't know the limits, there's no way to detect obstructions on auto-up.
