Default Cobb ap v1 from 2004 STi to 2004 WRX?

I know they are year specific, but will a COBB AP v1 Access Port, that came off a 2004 STI, work with my 2004 WRX?

And simply put, whats the major difference between the two other than looks and a color screen, usb, etc. Or, do they perform differently because I don't give a **** what it looks like, or if it has color, or if it has to stay plugged in or whatever.

Member on here is selling one and I would like to buy it if it will work, I am trying to find out fast for sake of purchase. Help is appreciated!

Called COBB, it will not work. The version 1 is specific to year and model. The version 2 is 02-05 WRX specific and 04-07 STi specific. there it is.

dont waste your money on a v1...they are crap. cobb themselves will tell you to use it as target practice.
