Tweeter rattle - 2012 Impreza Sport

Both of the speakers on top of the dash rattle like crazy first thing in the morning. I can stop the noise by pushing down on the speaker covers. They of course wouldn't rattle for my dealer after driving an hour to get there. Has anyone had this problem and had it fixed? If so, what did the dealer do?

Dealer put felt behind the speaker covers. One still rattles, one fixed. Will let them try again at my next oil change in 1,000 miles. Rattle is worse when car/dash is cold. Once the sun heats up the dash, the rattle goes away.

i work for bertera subaru... i had a 2012 impreza come in this morning with that same issue..its the lower part of the side panels knocking against the speaker covers on the dash, both sides....i lined the pillars with insulated foam strips..the noise went away..

Went back to the dealer for the 3,750 service so had them look at the dash speaker rattle again. They found (thanks Ryan2.5impreza07) that both the right and left side curtain air bag modules were making contact with the A pillars. Both were secured so as to not make contact. Rattles gone!
