Default need new intercooler

Currently running FMIC with rotated intake manifold on a 2.0 with a 16g. Its a bit laggy.
Thing is i know i dont need a fmic as im no where near 4-500whp or plan on getting there. So i want to either switch back to a big TMIC or water to air intercooler from votion speed. What do you guys think? Anybody with a water to air intercooler share some pros and cons?

i don't know anything about the water to air intercooler but i know for a fact you would be just dandy with a big top mount. there would be less lag and if you're worried about heat soak, don't be. its not as big of a deal as most people make it out to be. yeah the top mount will get a little heat soaked if you're sitting at a light but honestly, how often do you get on it from a light anyway? plus, as long as theres air moving through the intercooler, its cooling the air coming from the turbo. i have a process west top mount and i have no complaints. hope this helps.
