Question High Mileage WRX club

Hi guys,

Pretty new here, but I didnt see anything about this really when searching. Looking to hear about people w high mileage wrx's or STi's w mileage over 100k.... What are your mods? Stock engine, tranny etc?

I hear/see all of the horror stories on here, wondering if anyone has good ones like mine.... Sorry if this was already done.

2002 Wrx wagon psm

168k miles
stock tranny, stock engine for now, stock clutch changed once around 100k
Blouch 18gxt w 3" inlet and 8cm2
Perrin 3" inlet
Cobb SF intake w post maf
Cobb Catless Uppipe
Cobb 3" TBE Catted dp
TGV deletes
850cc Modded and flowed Subaru injectors
walbro 255lph pump
Grimmspeed 3 port ebcs
Vishnu TMIC
JDM scoop and splitter
Open source road Tuned by M@ at wicked innovation here in RI to conservative 19psi

Wicked will be building me a motor in the next few months, most likely going with a 2.1 stroker and then i will turn everything up and dyno. Super happy w the setup and been like this for 10k miles w no issues, previously was Cobb stage 2 for 90K and stage 1 for the rest. Just wondering how everyone else is holding up!

Knocking on wood as i post this. She's been the best car I've ever owned and has never left me stranded anywhere.

2004 WRX
130,000 Miles
Cobb Stage 2
TurboXS Turbo Back

Other than that engine is completely stock. I drive it really hard, and have been autocrossing it for the past three years. I just keep ALL the fluids changed per maintenance manual. Will always love this car. Only two payments left!

Beautiful car! Glad to hear this, keep them coming! I can't believe half the things I have read on here about ppl blowing up engines and trannies w super low mileage. I agree my Subaru is the most reliable car I have owned too..(also knocking on wood). Planning on keeping her for quite some time! I do the same, change fluids... Always keep oil full and check more then I should

what he said... almost...
03 wrx wagon 210xxx miles. Also my third subi with over 200,000. Minor bolt on mods, stock eng/trans, replaced center diff, windshield, headlights, inlet, front axles, within the last year. Brought it back up to date maint. wise. I have a header going in soon, but I think the prodrive blues will be going in next...

EDIT: I will be getting a tune with the headers though, contemplating tgv's at the same time though...

Headers is the only bolt on I haven't done yet as I will do el headers when I do and enjoying the rumble still but they are a worth while mod. My shop likes the tgv deletes and it is well worth it when upgrading the turbo etc not necessary without doing that but you should see some gains! Awesome keep them coming, I knew there was people out there! It's all in maintenance and how you drive! I drive like 3k miles a month sometimes almost all highway though.
