It's got my accessport yesterday..got it all hooked up today after work..and it won't turn on in the car. Anyone else ever have this problem? It starts up right away when plugged into my laptop. Any help/insight would be awesome!..I'm kind of an accessport noob.. "/

Have you tried making sure that you inserted the plug in all the way? Not just the tip?

Mine does that too sometimes, and I kinda have to wiggle it a little to get it seated all the way.
I was pretty sure..but I'll double check tomorrow when I go back to look at it. Haha..I got frustrated and it got dark so I was like ehh screw it.

This has happened to me on two occasions. For some reason, it has always always worked after several hours. I just plugged it in the car and it started. Go figure!?

Not sure why, but that's my experience.

Got it to turn on in the car now. Selected install and the screen shows to turning gears..top of the screen says ECU Comms..bottom says "Verify that ignition switch is in the ON position."

Ignition switch is in the on position - can hear radiator fans and fuel pump cycling on and off. Not sure why it isn't identifying my car? I'll have to see if they have any troubleshooting info online. Anyone else ever have this happen?

What's your order of operations? Plug in first and then turn on ignition? try the other way around.

It's okay, at least you didn't forget to reinstall the passenger airbag when taking apart the dash. My gf was seriously pissed.
