Celebrating 20 years of the Impreza @ Prodrive, Banbury UK

Hey guys,

Some of you may know that the Impreza is 20 years old this year, and to celebrate some of the boys on Type-RA.com decided to organise a gathering at Prodrive here in the UK.

The event was a strictly limited to 300 cars on a ticket entry basis of which helped raise money for charity.

The guys also managed to find 2 as near stock cars from each of the 20 years and created a "timeline" of Impreza evolution.

I have but only a few snaps of what was an amazing day, made so good by amazing people.

Also nice to take my prodrive edition back to its spiritual home for the weekend.

Hopefully some of the other guys may post their pics too.

I think that color is Metallic Ice Blue, only on the WR1 if I remember right.

Awesome pics. Ironically, I had never heard of Prodrive until I got my 1st Subaru in 2009 and later got some 18" gold P1's. I moved to the States from England back in 1988 at the age of 14. But I lived in Stratford-on-Avon as a kid, which is a stone throw from the Prodrive facility!!!! Who knows if I had still lived there, maybe I would've been a test driver?

And the Prodrive Heritage Centre was amazing. Not very big, but what it lacked in quantity was more than made up for in quality.
