these guys pretty much summed it up, either i grew up or the FF fad is history.

i like to think of the STI as being an upscale sport compact, and this looks cheap teenager garbage( no offense to teens, im just jealous my teens are gone)

Bottom line: needs more classs, or better yet needs class period...there isnt any now

The n1 style exhausts arent about class though. Its about racing.. These are much lighter than a quad tip.

I love both though. Ill have a quad tip and these fartcans

If you really want to go all out racing and weight savings get a turndown and bolt it up to the downpipe.

Anything "race" inspired on a daily driver or street car is "rice". (Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancements)

I agree with others, these look like the generic dual fartcans on almost every 300zx. They ruin those cars and they ruin these.

But hey, that's my opinion. Opinions are like ********, everyone has one, and they all stink.

I guess all spoilers on cars all pretty ricer and any exhaust that sounds louder is a ricer. I guess classy just means making your car less racecar.

Either way, I just got a set and they sound great. They're a bit less louder than the single exit N1. These are resonated so it's the street midpipe.
They look way better than the prototypes.
I just wished Q300's sounded like this.
Oh yeah, the Kartboy XL hangers didn't work well with this, so make sure to use stock or normal sized hangers.

i see your point, although 10lbs arnt likely to win you a race and this particular unit appears to be marketed for street average people.

Have you heard an N1 in person?
It is the signature boxer engine noise.
Nothing else can match up to it.

It's not retardedly loud. Anything NA with a "louder than stock" exhaust is louder. The n1 style just brings the rumble out.

and sadly... our WRX/STI aren't classy, they make look classy but they simply arent.

I know it's a cheaper option but it looks like hell. The design looks great with minimal bends. Just needs to finish better.

This is just steps during R&D. Final unit would have a high polish finish on it.

Rolled tips would be nice. 4in tips is a bit much. How about 3.5in tips?

Well, if it's an "N1", then it will probably have the same 4" diameter, straight cut tip that all the other N1's since the beginning of time have had. It's just two of them. I don't know what you guys expect.

This is exactly what I expected for the N1, but it doesn't change the fact that it looks like puke.

When there's one muffler on a car designed to have two, I can understand we're looking at function over form. When I see two mufflers like the manufacturer designed, it tells me there's a balance of form and function. In this example, function is kicking form's ass and not even charging an entrance fee.

Not feeling it.... looks like 2 mufflers you could buy at Autozone and slap em on. But I'm partial to the quad look so that's just me. Maybe some pics of it on the ground would do it some justice

I agree, they look terrible. I don't really like the original n1, but i could deal with only one can... but two that's unbearable. Can we get a sound clip on those?

I see these same mufflers on some beat up riced out 350Z around here. Not to mention they are on every old school Lexus/Toyota/Honda that is riced out as well.

The tips/mufflers kill it 100%. I would never buy this kit simply because of how it looks.
