Is the app in the process of being updated to utilize the iPhone5's larger screen?

I'm tired of the black bars on top and bottom

First world problems. Get a 1" bigger screen, has to deal with .5" black bars at top and bottom.

I constantly get notifications saying my subscribed threads are getting updated even when they aren't, anyone else get this?

Yes. Constantly the past couple weeks. I went as far as to unsubscribe from the threads and I still get the notifications.

I just turned off the notifications from the app.

Well, it'd be nice to know when they are actually being updated. I'm hope this app updates soon and they fix it, besides that I love the app. I barely use the website anymore!

Yes, me too. I turned off all notifications after unsubscribing didn't help.

it gets bad cuz i have been talking back and forth over a purchase so when it does this my phone has a seizure and i get 6 notifications at once

I actually replaced my iPhone 4 with a GS3. That's lasted just over a month until I got the iPhone 5. I can't say anything bad about the Samsung but after using the iPhone for several years I got used to it and the way it works.

The GS3 has a nice large screen but that's about the only plus that I liked. The email isn't as good, including having to download attachments and pictures to the gallery to be viewed. Also the size of the GS3 does make it harder to use with one hand.
It all comes down to what you want and what your use to. For me I like the iPhone although at times I miss the larger screen of the Samsung.

The new version of the app has been submitted on the 12th... FINALLY!!!

So it should be available very soon. Please let me know if the notification issue continues.

The new version of the app has been approved... I'm updating my phone now... everyone please let me know if it is still having the notification issues.

I can confirm the resolution is fixed for iPhone 5 users.
