Default New Chinese car company Qoros to debut at 2013 Geneva Motor Show

Quote:
At the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, Qoros Auto Co. Ltd, a new automaker in China, will makie its public debut with its first product aimed at young buyers in China and Europe.
“As its name implies, the Qoros brand will stand first and foremost for a strong commitment to product and service quality,” the company said in a statement. “This will be delivered by a close team working throughout the organization, with all functions coordinated like a well-orchestrated chorus.”
Qoros plans to team up with major global suppliers such as Magna Steyr, TRW, Continental, Bosch, Valeo, Microsoft and Iconmobile, which are leading the development of a vehicle range.
The first car will be known as the C11 and will be a compact four-door sedan designed by Executive Director of Design, Gert Volker Hildebrand.

I think a domestic car company should make an exact replica but with a different name and sell them locally @ half price....

Qoros 3 sedan?

We need another ****ing car company with number names?

BMW 3 series
Mazda 3
Audi A3

Can these people not invent names like they had to do for their company?

On the other hand, that interior looks better than the 3 series . Car looks like the most non-nondescript design I've seen though. Ala VW.

In addition to Audi, I see simplified, cribbed elements from Infiniti's book in that C pillar treatment.

I have visited some of the larger Chinese trade shows. I have been visiting China for 20 years now. In the 90s they have only rare govt cars on makeshift roads. Now they have roads better than ours and giant glass airports terminals better than any in USA.It is notable how many copy cars and trucks they make. The other thing is they must have over 100 motorcycle manufacturers and dozens of auto makers. Motorcycles run on propane, electric and gasoline. Trucks run on propane and diesel. They manufacture many electric bicycles, cars and buses.

this electric only cost $9500

The Qoros 3 Sedan, the first offering from Qoros Automotive, achieved a maximum five-starts in the European NCAP (New Car Assessment Program) crash tests. Headquartered in China, Qoros is an all-new automaker drawing on European part suppliers and design talent to build high quality cars. “The Qoros 3 Sedan scored highly in all four areas of the Euro NCAP tests and has the best overall performance of all vehicles assessed so far in 2013, placing it amongst the very best ever tested by Euro NCAP.” – - Qoros Media
Lololol, I'm honestly surprised.
