Im sure I am going to get a crap load of 'cool story bro', but it was the first time i have experienced it and I thought it was cool.

Anyways, it was 33° this morning when I left for work and out of nowhere after I started rolling, the voice that comes on for the bluetooth commands suddenly said "Caution, icy conditions". That made my day. Are there other messages that other people have witnessed outside of bluetooth commands?

That's awesome. I wish my 2010 had Bluetooth. It's the little things that bring joy.

Is it going to do that every time you drive below freezing temps?

That's a good thing?

I'd like to know this too. Some GM vehicles I've been in will show "ICE POSSIBLE" on the information display or an icon on the rearview mirror. But it's only in borderline freezing scenarios (30-34*F), and few and far between. Weird.

My bluetooth hasn't spoken to me yet. Maybe I'm not giving my baby enough love.

My 2011 doesn't do that. Nice upgrade for '12.

Oh and don't be too jealous about the Bluetooth. Compared to every other system I've used, this is by far the worst. The only command mine understands is "cancel." That's when, oddly, my car starts to shake.

It does NOTHING I tell it to. I will even say, "Dial by number," give the number, and all I get is "Pardon?" or "177563829204726. If this is correct press the off-hook button or say Go Back." That's not even a flipping phone number, nor did I say ONE of those numbers! This is the point where I begin to yell and my car shakes because I'm so damn pissed off. Call quality is also piss poor. No one can hear me and 80% of the time I just turn my BT off and hold my phone like I'm some kind of caveman. So, yeah, you're not missing a thing with this terrible ass Bluetooth.

Odd. Ours understands me well enough, rarely getting a command wrong. Dialing by number is a bit long, a bit tedious, but everything else is fine.

I don't have any issues with it understanding me, making calls, or responding to my commands. However, every person I talk to always says "what is that noise". People say it's a scratching noise like metal on metal.

You must have one serious speech impediment there because my Bluetooth understands just about everything I tell it...and that's with my thick Boston accent.

I have had no problem with the bluetooth in my 2013 WRX understanding me... it's probably your Chicagoland accent that it doesn't like

My Bluetooth: "I'm a cop."
Me: "What are you talking about?"
Bluetooth: "Ever since I met you, I've been undercover. I'm a cop."
Me: "Oh, you bastard. You bastard!"

I've had two 2011 WRXs, both with the same issue. I'm born and raised in Chicago, so it's not like I have a crazy accent or s-s-s-studder or anything. I'm convinced the system just blows since every other car we've owned has zero issue. Either way, my car doesn't talk to me to say it's cold. My temp flashes a few times once it drops to 37° but that's it.

My seat keeps farting at me. Oh wait, that's just the seat-squeak issue in play.

I had one time where my car made a coughing noise. To this day, I can't figure out if it was the song on the USB, the windshield wiper hitting a rough patch, or if I was just hearing things. It definitely did not happen again.
