Default new to subies

Just recently got a 02 wrx wagon. Anyone got any tips an tricks I could put to good use. This is my first subaru. I do have a few issues like minor hesitation n shaking. I replaced plugs since cel was on for a misfire. No cel is on. Everything is fine at wot but under light load it wants to act up sometimes. Any ideas on what it can be an what can fix it? It is bone stock. Thank you for any ideas and tips

Try seafoam in your intake, it should smooth things out. I'd ditch the bov and get a proper bypass valve. I assume the ecu is tuned for what you are running. These cars don't like blow offs unless properly set up for one. If you still have the stock routing setup, the bov will screw with your throttle lift afr

Get rid of the blow of valve, no need for it unless you want the Woosh sound. Then just maintain it correctly. But you do not need a tune for it. In fact you can't even tune for the bov. When I got my car it had a hesitation under load or you can say coming into boost. Turned out my fuel pump was going out.

If you have a good tuner local they can diagnose a bad fuel pump by simply pluging in their laptop and seeing what the car is doing.

Swap the BOV for a stock BPV and come back if you still have a problem.

I had the stock bov on before and I still had the same hesitation under light load. I know of 2 tuner shops I can go to on a free day from work. Other than that I know my shake is prolly from my snow tires n I live in the city. I had the dealer look over it and my suspension is tight so I'm guessing tires. I plan on getting new ones soon.
