Hey I am looking at doing a Grad Program at ENMU and wanted to see if any of you guys have an opinion, such as the School, area, ect. I'm looking at their Anthro MA program.

Good school, quite a few friends went there.

Absolute middle of nowhere = Portales, NM. And that's saying alot as most of NM is BFE. Lubbock is the nearest "large" city, otherwise plan on 2-3 hours for any major metropolitan area.

Campus is great and local support is strong. Not much off-campus housing however. Weather is pretty standard for the area, solid four seasons with occasional snow and high summer temps. Altitude is about 4000ft, prepare for your cars (s) to be way down on power.

They have a pretty decent Archaeology program. Also, according to Wikipedia, for every 100 women there is like 96 men...I like the odds.

UNM has a wonderful Anthro department and Archaeology program. Better than ENMU, and is located in Albuquerque, which is WAY better than Potales/Clovis area.

Again, I stand by my previous statement. When you pass through Albuquerque stop by the UNM campus and check out their Anthro department. You can thank me later...
