Default Turbo heatsheild w/ DP wrap adequate?

Just wanted to get some second opinions on this. I recently installed a new DP and plan to use a PTP blanket on the turbo. I had also intended on installing a heatsheild, but realized I goofed and left off a bracket that heatsheild needs to mount.

Will I be OK with just a DP wrap and blanket? I'd rather not fight that DP again for a few months if I don't need the HS right now. Still kicking myself for forgetting that bracket... Thoughts?

Thanks, I thought it would require one of the mount points on the lower stock heatsheild as well, but it looks like you're right. I'll go ahead and re-install that top bracket and all should be well.

if you want more heat protection from the dp, you could install a dp blanket also....

If you DO plan on pulling the dp in the future, I would suggest getting the pupe Swain Tech white lightening ceramic coated. Do a quick search, it's the only legit coating on the market.

Wrapping can promote rust, depending on dp material, driving habits and climate.
