I'm curious as to how many of us drive with the windows down, nearing the Winter time. I know when I cruise around in the Fall/Winter months if I'm by myself in the car I crank the heat full-blast and go windows all the way down(outside circulating air). If I have a coat and beanie/scarf I usually can pull off low 30's in the Chicago weather we have so often.
Anybody else a freak of nature....? ![]() |

Best served on a 20* bluebird day after a day of serious boarding on the mountain.
I always have the windows down, unless it's raining (See; October to May) or I'm on the freeway. |

Not freakish at all. The exhaust is intoxicating and I do it all the time. I don't know about doing it with the windows all the way down, but they're at least cracked and the sunroof is almost always open. I like your style.

It's December and right now it's 68 degrees in western PA. I had all windows down and sunroof open. Never felt so good, but yea I usually like to freeze my passengers to the point to where they want to ride with somebody else!

I do the opposite of this in the summer and everyone thinks I'm weird. Windows down, AC on full blast.

Windows down, heat on, this is how we do it. Although sometimes the sound of my engine is drowned out by the sound of my wife's teeth chattering.

I can't be bothered to in the Subaru. The airflow it gets is just... wrong. When I daily drove the Miata, though, the top was down unless it was raining. While I do live in Texas, I had many drives in sub-freezing temperatures with the top down. And these days, I daily a motorcycle, and do so regardless of weather.
So, yeah, I'm out there in it, whatever the weather may be. If you enjoy that, I'd suggest looking for a convertible or a motorcycle to have as "another" vehicle - the experience is vastly improved with the greater openness these vehicles offer. ![]() |

I do this as well, mostly because of exhaust sound and fresh air.
