('08-'10) Impreza 2.5i maintenance cost

Hi guys,

I have a 2009 impreza 2.5i. So far i have 30000 miles on it. I live in southern california and I am near a couple of dealerships.

I went to a dealership on Fullerton since this is the closest one where i currently live and they slap me with a $1400 bill. Is this a fair price for 30k maintenance? I own another car that is not awd and it cost me 1/3 the maintenance cost for the same service.

Any advise? Thanks

I hope not. That seems like alot for only 30k miles. Whats it need?

it's just a regular 30k maintenance. the funny thing is, i called other dealerships, they are saying it only cost 575 for the very same service.

i told the Fullerton branch about this and they told me that they are lying, i will be charged more after the service is done because of undisclosed materials or services.

Thats more than 2x the amount.

I went to one of the performance shops in my area that specializes in Subarus, I paid about 275. A majority of the 30k service is INSPECTION. Not much changes except for some fluids etc. Shop around. I'm now at about 33500 on my 08
