Default Same speed for too long during breakin

Quick question,

What happens if you stay in the same gear and MPH for too long on the highway during breakin?

I am asking because I had to drive a distance of 100 miles twice and kept it in 6th all the way while varying the MPH (65-60-70, repeat). I kept a constant speed for about 10-15 minutes then varied the speed slightly. Was I doing it wrong?

Hit some boost and use your gears to slow down. Drive the car like you will when it's broke in. Go to easy and you won't get a good break-in.

Read your 2013 manual and do what it says. Nothing more.

This. Also do a search on Break in. If you don't make it one word (because it's not) you'll find plenty of articles on proper breaking meth ods.

Also, putting 200 miles on the car during break in while not following "proper" methods isn't going to break your car. Hell, some people take their car direct to the track. Not great for it in the long run, but it's not going to actually break anything.

Read post 3 and 4 and know that there is no need to get OCD about your break in.
