Rear Seat Removal 13 Hatch

Anyone know how to remove the rear seats in a 2013?

It's not the pull ring of the 12 but there is definitely a plastic lock type thing holding it in on both sides. The middle just pops out by pulling up on it.

I just pulled mine out last week, it does have the pull ring to release the seat. It's just a pain because it's further back. I had worked on my friends 2011 before I bought my 2013 and remember the 2011 seat bottom coming out a lot easier then mine did.

In case any 13 hatch owners need to know, you push down on the seat cushion (above the latch) and push the little black ring looking thing. It pops out then. It's not a pull ring like the 11/12.

I would be surprised if the hatch was any different than the sedan. If you feel where the seat meets the floor near the middle the left and right seating positions, you will feel where the seat raises slightly. Reach in with two fingers and you will feel two curved pieces. Get a finger behind those and gently pull toward the front of the car. That will unlatch the seat on either side and you can lift it right out.
