machine shops in ny

hey guys was looking fo a reputable machine shop to do some work on my block and heads and every one says use some one who has experince with subarus so thats why im posting bc i searched and didnt find anything

any help is big help

Might be helpful if you say where you are generally located, ny is pretty damn big, and what exactly you need done to the block/heads.

well im in middletown ny and looking to get my heads ported and polished and new valve springs and vales and looking to get the #5 thrust bearing done on a ej22t and a over bore

i know a lot of shops/people send the heads out to headgames motorworks to get heads done.

you can also check out rallispec in cherry hill NJ.

Headgames does amazing work, but they can be expensive. We used Lab Engine Management in Lindenhurst NY for our motor builds. They don't specialize in Subaru or even imports but they do great work. It's on LI so its probably too far for you.

my brother uses aldo for all of his work on his honda and i did as well when i owned my hatch. he does amazing work and has good prices. def a good guy

I was asking the same question on here about 6 months ago when I needed some head work done and some one told me about Larrys Auto Machine in Groton CT. I had a excellent experience with them the did exactly what I needed done. They have lots of experience with Subaru's as well. http://www.larryspower.com

I brought mine to Precision in Lakewood and they have a shop they deal with. Heads came back great.

I agree, Buffalo NY, WNY, Rochester area shops? I kno of Street Tuned Motorsports, near Lockport, NY. They are the closest i can find to Buffalo, NY/ WNY area.
