I'm not sure where you heard this from, but supercharger and turbocharger are sometimes used interchangeably depending on what country you are from. Shortened from turbosupercharger.

So chances are, it's turbo. Although supercharged would be amazing imo.

Not sure about the STI but the wrx is supposed to have the 2.0 275 HP

(Read this information in car and driver magazine)

It very much looks like the BRZ in a way.. same general sleek design with a hint of Lexus/Audi added in.

I thought the new wrx and sti were supposed to come out next year and the '14s were supposed to be the same as '13s.

From the side it has hints of an Evo X, and the height/size of that hood make it look like a crappy Mustang.

Agreed, very unflattering from the side, definitely hints of Retro Muscle / Jaguar in the front end.

I'm not quite sure yet. Appearance aside, the rest of the car, from the interior to the transmission to the 2.0 DI turbo engine, put this car on practically a different planet than the current WRX.

These are actual photos of the actual show car that will be displayed at upcoming auto shows.

Seems false to me, there are four doors on that model and everything I've seen indicate the new model to be two doors?

That'll never happen, a 2 door wrx or sti would be in direct contention to the brz and kill all sales and future plans for a brz family like toyota wants.

Assuming you read that on the French site. Unless there is a native-speaking French car nut to tell me otherwise, that is a bad translation.

The '13 BRZ came out in April/May '12. There is no reason the '15 WRX can't come out in April/May 2014.

The prevailing notion is that the '14 WRX will be the same as the '13 but will have a short run. The new generation WRX will go on sale in the first half of '14 as a '15 model.

It doesn't come from an official source. You will have to wait for the NY auto show to see more, provided this is a legitimate concept car.
