Default Well, the Subaru is dead

If anyone got stuck on Preston Road around 1:30pm yesterday, I would say sorry, but that should probably be left for the lady who hit me to say.

Was going north in the far left lane, Lexus RX turned left on a "Yield on Green", clearly she didn't see me coming, and I couldn't see her until it was too late.

I'm pretty confident I'll be looking for a new car now...

Random piece of car I found in the foot well when getting personal belongings out.

I'm mostly fine, just banged up a bit, right leg under knee is pretty swollen and my right hip is pretty bruised, but nothing broken, they took a ton of x-rays and CT scans.

Sorry, glad no one got seriously hurt. I'll pour one out for a fellow red Subi.

So what's the next car going to be?

Damn. Sorry to hear that. Good news is that you're ok for the most part. Cars can always be replaced, people cannot.

Thanks guys, not sure on next car yet, need to do first things first, but the cars we were looking at before the accident was the V8 Genesis Sedan (09-11) or potentially a new WRX.

This was my leg yesterday, swelling is down today but getting more colorful

I joined the war on Lexuses (Lexi??) today. I yawned, blinked and rear ended one. My truck has a bent bumper. The Lexus, not so good. No one hurt thank goodness.

Glad you were in a car and not on a bike. They always turn left in front of bikes.

Hope you get what you want and heal up quickly.

Well, I managed to trade the Dodge Journey they gave me as a rental with a Nissan Maxima SV with 780 miles on it, all while saving $10 a day, so things are looking up already.

Feeling better every day, my leg is just numb, I have little/no sensation in the injured area at all, when the contusion goes down, I'm hoping sensation returns. My hip is sore but getting better too, only thing that worry me slightly is some neck/shoulder discomfort on the right side, with some loss of strength in the right arm, but it comes and goes, and I think it's just muscle irritation slightly pinching some nerves, should get better within a week or so.

The hunt for a car has begun, gently used or new (probably used), currently looking in the $24-28k range, but we'll see how much they give me for the old car.

Lol, lady was 75 years old, I'm sure she didn't dick around on purpose.

I picked up the police report today though, it sides 100% with me, naming her not yielding as the sole reason for the accident.
