Default Belkirk

Does anyone know if Belkirk is still giving quotes out via NASIOC?
A friend has been trying to get in touch with them on my behalf, and they seem to have dropped off the face of the earth.

I've got a bunch of stuff that needs paint, and my plan to have belkirk paint it seems to not be working out.

Have you tried calling during business hours? I just talked to them on Monday...

If I recall correctly, it used to be that one of the employees there would do paint work on the side. He was reachable by PM here.

I realize it might be difficult, but you might actually have to ask them a question like, "is there someone there that handles your online presence?" followed by "may I speak with them?"

Maybe you're not grasping the concept of what I'm asking, so I'll do my best to make it more clear for you. I was under the impression that one of their employees did paint work on the side, and got most of that business by posting under the name of Belkirk here on Nasioc.

I don't know that persons name, and I'm not sure it's entirely appropriate to have someone call them and ask "Is one of your employees still offering paint and body work at a deeply discounted rate via Nasioc?"

I appreciate your help, albeit it totally sarcastic and useless, but my question was "Does anyone know if Belkirk is still giving quotes out via NASIOC?" I'm deployed and I don't have access to a phone right now. Thanks for the bump.

Maybe you should search for the Belkirk account. Do you really need your hand held for this?

I did search. They're listed as a former vendor. That status, in addition to the multiple PMs and emails that have not received a reply lead me to believe I might be missing part of the story. Asking if someone has more information than is more readily available to me is not having my hand held.

I assumed that some of the people on the forum who are either listed as 'friends' with belkirk (to include 12sechatch) or have had work done recently might have some more insight.

Is that clear enough to warrant a helpful response?

My post was not useless and I understand exact what you are looking to do. However, let's break this down a bit...

If the guy that does side work gets info through the online account, maybe the guy that handles their online presence is the same person?

Its a body shop with very limited people there, not a city with 7,000 people.

Btw, tyler handles their online presence. Which would be very easy to find out if you just called and asked.

Again, as I stated already, I am deployed and don't have access to a telephone. Hence asking whether or not he was reachable by PM still.

He sent me a PM about 5 minutes ago, so mods you can go ahead and close this down.

Glad he pmed you back. Apparently people don't understand that when you're deployed a phone is not near by or in a pocket for you to check every 5 mins. Thank you for serving and gl with your subie issue.

Thanks, man. I appreciate that. Glad this thread got me somewhere, and got Tyler (now that I know his name) some business.
