Angry water leak MY2000 2.5rs

Hi all,

Yesterday I have noticed water getting in to the trunk from the driver side tail light.

Also I went through a touchless wash (washing under the car too)
and right after the clutch start squeaking.

Any advise help would be appreciated.

thanks

If I take the tail light out and apply silcon to the seal, will this solve the problem?

is it easy to grease or apply grease to the cluth ?.

You can buy some black sealant, not sure what the name is to seal up the leak. I would perfer you to remove the light then remove the old sealant and apply the new, but you can alway just fill in the crack between the light housing and the body.

As for the clutch.. I've no idea how you can get rid of the squeek. I'm have a squeeky clutch along with another member.

Thanks for the info about the sealant. I am going to try it. as for the squeak, I can hear it as if it is from the inside (clutch pedal), but when I opened the hood, I can hear more noises when applying the clutch. I think it is coming from the clutch fork and may be applying some grease will correct the problem?

You can try sending the car back for warrenty service. Since your car is a 2000, I hope your warrenty haven't run out yet.
