Well the only reason I asked about that mod...is for show(decible).......already got the go....Plus I'm more interested in if this mod will affect the warranty....I don't plan to mod this car anytime soon...I am sure we are going to get our share of problems that we need to be covered by warranty. So I need to have it pretty much stock till the warranty is over.
PS also what changes do we have to make to the stock flange(if there is one for the stock BOV) in order for the aftermarket one to fit. Last edited by DC6; 04-23-2003 at 03:24 PM. |

Seriously, if you want it just for the sound, just get one of those electronic BOV's, save you from running rich at venting, wont void your warranty, and you get the sound.

Well, Blast me if you will, But I for one like BOVs. It is part of a turbo car's characteristics. But I think by far the best BOV on the market is the HKS SSBOV. Tried many other but keep coming back to the good ol' HKS. Actually I took my BOV off for an autox and my car didn't perform as well with out it. I know the use of BOV (expecially on the WRX) is debatiable but now you know where I stand at least.

As far as the fit. I would seriously doubt they changed the BOV flange for '04. |
