Default bushing question: v4 STi vs v7 STi vs Stock WRX

I have a question for all the suspension gurus out there.

I have the opportunity to pick up a set of rear suspension trailing links and rear suspension rear lateral links with bushings from a low mileage v4 STi.

I believe these parts will fit my 02 WRX Wagon. How do these bushings compare to the newer STi bushings? How would they compare to my stock ones?

I've already upgraded the rear suspension front lateral link bushings with the ones that came with my SPT kit.

Thanks in advance, Edvig

I'm not sure that anyone knows, Edvig. For instance, the STi gets the same strut tops as the WRX. The "STi" strut tops that everyone refers to when discussing suspension top mounts are in fact the aftermarket, hardened Group N mounts.

I'm just not sure about the rest of the bushings on an STi, if they get a firmer bushing or not.

Thanks...Kevin.

I may post this question on scoobynet. Those guys have more experience with the older STIs than we do. The idea of swapping GC STi parts came to me out of laziness and the desire not to ever have to squeeze bushings out ever again.

My other option is to go pink!
