unfortuneately i wont be at the danbury meet since its the day of my graduation party so i wont be able to leave the house. i wasn't able to go the exeter meet today either, in fact i've never been to a meet... ever. and now that my car's turning out the way i've been wanting it to, i want to get out there. so lemme know when there's gonna be another meet around here. btw, whiteknight i've seen pix of your car before on subarulegacyownersclub and on i-club and it looks hot.

Not much is new...

Im done building up the legacy and will be diverting my efforts into building up a Nissan 240 soon. I'll still have the Legacy as a daily driver and will be hanging around the forums because of the atmosphere on this board.

i'm definately going to look into it . i think i may be able to find an ej22t engine without much hassle. trick is finding one with low mileage. anyway, i got some better cleaner pix of my car for you guys to see.

2400 for the engine or 4700 with the engine and all the essentials. kind of pricey for something that would be thrown in an automatic. i don't think it would be that fun.

legacy2003: I would punch you really hard if you said that and I was near you

This doesnt have to turn into a manual vs auto thread. You should know that a manual gear box is not always better

Soon I should have something very cool running with an automatic transmission....

Its cool. I guess Im just sensative.

Hey, how many of you think the monkey is a bad icon (negative feelings) and how many of you think its a good one?
The monkey used to be a middle finger, now some say its just a disco.

Personally I think nothing is better than a turbo car with an auto. Building boost at a stand still and building higher boost than what would be normally allowed at a certain speed is nice. The variable nature of the VC and the torque multiplication is very cool. With a locked TC an automatic transmission should get alot better gas milage than a manual. Look at some of the new cars coming out, for example the SCION. The auto gets higher ratings for highways!
