Default Will 3" WRX Exhoust fit under a GC6?

I ordered a three inch diameter stromung catback made for a GD WRX.

With the flange rotated and the 3rd hanger moved will the exhaust fit under a GC6 body? Has anyone done this? Exhaust will be mated to a custum downpipe. (possibly 3" pdm pipe)

Thanks in advance.

I put a WRX exhaust (axle-back) on my 98. I just rotated the flange and bought 2 urethane hangers and it stopped it from swinging.

Yes, I have seen that done with a WRX axleback. I just hope that a full Thick 3" catback will not bang on the lateral links or whatever part might get in the way.

Yes, it will fit.

The GC6 is just a GC chassis. The GC/GF chassis is what a number of real WRX's were based on in previous years. (GC8 anyone?)

I don't know what turbo kit you are using, but if you retrofit the WRX exhaust parts for the turbo, you can almost just bolt in an entire turbo back exhaust.

Yes, and the only difference between the USDM and the GC exhaust is the flange and the hanger. When replacing the entire turbo back then the flange is irrelevant. *shrug*
