Remote Starter/Alarm

Does anyone have any info on installing a remote starter/alarm? I currently have a stock Subaru alarm and its not compatible with any remote starts I have seen. I was told I need to remove the stock alarm and start over. Does anyone have any suggestions on brands/ models of remote starters/alarms and a possibly some wiring info , thanks in advance Jamesp717

Do a search for "remote start" and you'll find all the information that you need. Some of the popular units are the Viper 790XV, 791XV, Clifford Matrix RS3, Matrix RS3.5.

It's probably easier to buy a remote start system that includes an alarm, like the examples posted above. That way , you can just remove the factory alarm and replace it with the one unit. I have a RS3, and I've been very happy with it
