Thumbs up Future HUD

On one of the TV shows here in Japan they had the company that some of us bought H.U.D.s from. They showed off the new systems they were going to release in the not so distant future. They had ones that were larger with a hell of alot more features. They even had one with GPS and road maps in it that displayed where you were on screen on the map. They had ones with the Speed, RPM, what gear you were in (that was an odd option), your cars temp and a few other gauges all inside the screen. It was pretty cool to see all the new products. Oh and for the car audio guys they even had one for you with your volume level, name of CD (think it only works with the Sony ESP though), and a on-screen graphic eq. Cool stuff. Makes me wish I would have waited to buy my HUD.

If you've seen the road map/gps unit that is available in Japan for the Impreza, Legacya nd Forester you can just use its screen size as a reference. The screen for the map isn't too large. You still have all the prior visibility as before. The map also has your speed and rpm super imposed on the map so you can still monitor your car. If I find the info online somewhere I will post the link for you. Pretty cool toys.
