Default power loss

i got my car back from subaru yesterday after having a valve cover gasket and a front o2 sensor replaced. i noticed as soon as i started the car somethign was wrong. there is an odd "Wooshing" sound under acceleration, it sounds like a vacuum, but faint and there is a significant loss of power and intake sound under accleration. i checked the intake, and i made sure it was tight.

subaru told me that they had removed the engine becuase they belived that it was the head gasket leaking when it was only the valve cover. so my question is;

is there anything that they could have left disconnected after reinstalling the engine that would lead to these symptoms?

Thanks,
~SGD

Weird, that sounds like actually cooling system problem my '95 Avenger suffers from. Since they moved so much stuff around, better have them recheck.

Also, since I'm from Montreal, can I ask you which dealership ?
