So yesterday I had the unusual option of two racing events on TV. Keep in mind I have no cable or satellite dish:
"If you have to pay for TV, you're paying too much" - Mike Smith 1999 So, anyway, there was the CART Houston race or bikes at Pocono. I haven't followed two wheelers since I had one in the 70s, but I thought I'd see what's up. Bike racing is way more exciting than the follow the leader CART boys. They had passing and re-passing several times per lap! I'd watch a heat of bikes and then turn back to the cars - they'd be running in the same order as when I left, unless some got thru the pitstop faster (isn't that exciting, edge of your seat stuff). Plus the bikes actually looked different from each other! Great fun! ![]() |

Hey Mike- I'm in the same boat you're in. No cable, no satellite (by choice- although I'm weakening). The bike racing was extremely cool. Much more interesting than the CART race. I love the diffence exhaust notes the various bikes make. (Ducati!)
