Default you're asking about a rare swap

Few here would likely have experience w/ the swap that you have inquired about.

1) most of the conversions here seem to center around the smaller impreza engine bay,

2) we don't have legacy b-4's here, our legacies are NA and of different wiring.

I've only heard of one case where someone put an svx engine into a usdm legacy, I believe it was abandoned later. Others have asked about the possiblility though. If you search you may find a blurb about it.

You may want to try on the UK boards as they'd be more likely to get a b4 than we would.

good luck

The now defunct JC Sports had a 1st gen legacy with a supercharged EG33. The real question is why?

any thing is possible, how much time and money do you want to spend.

i would assume you can though because another member on here put the newer H6 3 liter in his 95 impreza L search for "Anders8" i think for a username.

yea, you can do it. it will be a pain. but that body style did come with the H6. so using the newer motor might make it easier.
