Default Which fly wheel to use?

I'am swapping in a ej20 into my RS(using old tranny) and was wondering if I need to reuse my old flywheel off of my ej25 or can I use the wrx's?

If your using your old tranny you can use your old clutch and flywheel setup. A wrx flywheel will not fit on your RS tranny

You will need to upgrade your clutch though. The stock RS clutch is not strong enough to handle the power of the WRX engine. You may as well put in a lightened flywheel though.

OK,but what if the clutch is brand new, would it not hold at all or just wear out faster?

RS clutches simply were not designed to hold power. It may work for a little while, but it is doubtful.
