One bannana, two bannana, three bannana, four....

Yep. Great bunch. I remember them along with Super Bug, The Thunderbirds, and Land of the Lost (the original ones). Did you get Star Blazers over there?

That was a fun show thanks for the link. How about Speed Racer though? I've gotten my 3.5 year old really interested in him. Now we have almost all the episodes and he watches all the time. Kind of kool to see them again

Peaty

Yea I'm on the very upper end of 30, as far as you can go actually...

Uh I do remember a two-or-three-minute cartoon that used to air right before or after Danger Mouse (on I think Nickelodeon) back in the '80s, called "Banana Man."

Guess that's unrelated.

I'm glad someone else mentioned the pinnacle of cartoondom... Danger Mouse and Star Blazers. Nothing like Wildstar and Penfold to get your morning started right.

Pinnacle of cartoondom? Nah. That one's a cinch... Wile E. Coyote and the Roadrunner.
They absolutely can NOT be beat.

There's one episode where Wile E. takes this hot air balloon with dynamite sticks with wings on them taped to the edges. The deal is that he'll drop them from the balloon while he's airborne, and they'll fly down and get the Roadrunner. Well...he lights all the fuses and one lets go. It catches an updraft, flies up and hits the balloon. *BANG!* He falls down. Cut scene one.

All throughout the rest of the show, every time he comes up with some new scheme, right before it's about to work, you'll hear "bzzzz!!!" as the little dynamite stick with wings flies in to blow him up!!! God, I remember my father and I laughing til we cried at that one!!! That and the famous episode with the catapault. Ohhh man that was the best!

As for new cartoons... The new Batman/Superman Adventures by Warner Bros. is about the best I've ever seen. Excellently done, no wonder it wins so many awards!

I like Banana Splits, the theme song could possibly be the best of all shows but still, the Simpsons is the best show on TV of all time.

Oh yeah! Don't forget the origional Spiderman cartoon. The one with the cool theme song.

Bad news Bill... Mr Big shut down about 10 years ago. I used to get all my Starblazers stuff there. Grandizer used to be part of the show "Force Five" which also had Gaiking, The Argonauts, three robots whose names elude me except for Poseidon, and one more that I absolutely can't remember. Anyone recall Tranzor Z, the Mighty Orbots, and Gigantor?
