Default Morettes Broken, need help (56k beware)

Ok, I got my used morettes in the mail, and one of the projectors is broken. (See pics)

Where can I get a replacement?

I called allsubaru.com and they said I will have to wait around 3 weeks.

These have the "angel eye" mod as well.

Also, I have heard of a leveling motor. Is this similar to the sti hid leveling motor and switch? Or is it something different? And who sells these things?

Thanks.

Try Z1, www.z1auto.com , they are a Morette dealer and should be able to get you the projector unit. Can't say if they have it in stock though, you may still have to wait.
The Morettes do have provision for a leveling motor but I've never seen one on Morettes sold in the US, I think they are only used in the overseas versions.

My Morrettes came with leveling motors. I removed them before I installed the lights. It makes access to the headlamp adjusting screws much easier. Keep in mind that the leveling motors are designed to only lower the headlights. When used properly, the headlights are aimed properly with the leveling motors in the full up position and then lowered when you have a load in the back of the vehicle. On cars equipped with factory HID lamps, this is done automatically using a ride height sensor of some sort. Usually it is linked to the rear suspension. I've seen some manually controlled units on old Euro-spec Mercedes. Of course, this is before the advent of HID lamps. All this is to prevent you from blinding oncoming traffic.

Interesting, that's the first reference I've seen to anyone with Morettes having the leveling motors. Where did you get yours from, and are they LHD?

They are LHD and I purchsed them through an i-club group buy. (Befor it became NASIOC.) If I remembr correctly, the person running the group buy sourced them directly from Europe.
