Default Resonse from Husky to 94 octane in Edm

Dear Byron:

Thank you for taking the time to write to us. We appreciate receiving comments and suggestions from our customers on our products and services. Your feedback enables us to better understand your needs, and enhance our services to coincide with consumer requirements.

Past surveys concluded little to no demand in the Alberta market for high performance fuels. Consumer trends have since changed significantly and higher Octane based fuels are becoming more appealing.

The introduction of E94 into the Calgary market has sparked inquires as to whether or not the same product will be introduced into Edmonton.

Due to the enormous expense incurred to implement E94, specific considerations are taken into account when choosing suitable stations: market demand, tank qualifications, facility requirement, and consumer accessibility. If station specifications do not meet our requirements, product expansion cannot occur.

If market results are proven favorable when preliminary testing in Calgary is concluded, a plan for northern expansion is estimated for 2005.

As one of our valued customers we will keep your e-mail address on file to keep you posted with our progress.

Regards,

Tawndra Calhoun
