Default schedule change...how do you feel about a once or twice a month meet in NNJ on sunday

Fuddruckers sunday fun run meet
feb 8th (sunday) starting at 4 (gives everyone time to do whatever they have to do and sleep in late) the addy etc is further down in the post with directions. hope to see new faces etc.

like the title says. having a meet at whatever time on sundays, the time shouldnt be the same always because some people would always miss it. think of it as that meet that would happen for all the people who can't make the weds night ones. besides what else do you do on sunday. Maybe add some help for fellow subaru owners installing parts or what not. Yes Mikewrx-nj you and your deltadash own me. also when it gets warmer we can all just go to the auto crosses or drag racing. unfortunately i, along with many others have a full schedule. some of us have college or work or what not. but just about everyone should be able to make it out on sundays. whether its a sunday fun run or whatever. I know infamouswrx will be into that since he is only home sundays. aside from him, im sure there are other people that would like to have meets other days and sunday in North nj is pretty boring usually. im not trying to replace any weds meets, i just cant go to them anymore because of my college schedule . hope to hear what your suggestions and responses are.

Josh

well the reason why I dont bother going to the NNJ meets is because who wants to sit in traffic driving up there from where Im at? Sundays would of course work better for anyone.

we can change it up. that way if you miss one, we can have another later or earlier. there is no date to when this starts. it would just be when enough people would like to, or feel the need, or anticipate themselves being bored on a sunday. a good meeting place would prob. be garden state plaza, paramus park, somewhere large off of 17 or route 4. i say fart around just because thats what the subys sound like...jk. i wouldnt mind just hanging out, running the cars around like mad, and wasting a whole bunch of gas. it doesnt have to be a dinner meet. that way no one has to pay for anything. since either we know the faces or will know the faces from supper meets etc. question is. what would we do. because most of the things i think of....are illegal, involving mass consumptions of fuel, tires, and possibly my suby motor and trans. for the sunday fun runs

Dude you don't wake up on sundays before 3 LOL

But yea, sundays + the normal wednesday meets sounds like a fun idea. Sunday install days would be cool, helping each other out, crack open some beers or sodas (whatever you prefer) and install some stuff, do sunday drives, autox whatever I'm down. Though since you brought it up Josh, you have to plan the first one

ill set something up...lets work on an ideal time...and what we'd all like to do. i figure paramus area is most accesible...via 18 million highways. paramus park and garden state plaza are low car stealing (WRX) areas in comparions to places around them. also you cannot possibly get lost, no crazy directions etc. plus huge parking lots to meet in. fun runs on the highway and meeting back up in the lots.

You and your HP can go play w/ Mr. Man-wand.

BTW... where did your sorry self go last night? Did you have the balls removed from your Subie?

As for Sunday, I'll come 'round if I get my work done.

well its not this sunday. (im moving into college...allthough it could be if enough people want to)

where did i go? well my wipers froze every 10 minutes, i was driving cautiously, not with crazy billy. see insurance only covers the car, and when you have atleast half the cars value invested in the car, unless your billy you would want to take care of it. nothing but love...

if u like hot girls why not hooters...there were 2 there LOL.

actually i promised the wifey only one girl...which of course is her. so bring all the girls you want, i'll see if my girlfriend wants to "play" with them

pat we know your one racing seat is the coolest. if you werent hillarious we'd have to shoot you

I'm up for it if it stays in NNJ. Consider taking it up as far as Bear Mountain cause the roads do get nice up there. An early Sunday dougnuts and DOUGHNUTS meet would be nice. Maybe try to get 4or2Wheels (Mitch) involved. He knows alot of the roads. I'll bring my house mechanic, navigator, friend, and son if I can get him to wake up early enough.

I get out at 5 on sudays so I would be down for that I work wednesday nights so I usually only get to go to the Panera meets on Wednesday because it is right down the road from where I work and I usually take a dinner break to go there so I can never stay very long.

lol matt, we know you'll be there, we'll try to make it a minivan free event.

for you slower guys, im pretty generous with rides as are most of the faster guys, so if your nice and you spot the faster cars, im sure you can just hop in.

bear mountain sounds like a good idea, i havent been there in a long time

Paul- we wont miss spring valley because spring valley is late. besides i havent been seeing you up there.

lets go ahead and try to set it up for Feb 8th (so infamous can actually go to a meet! LOL) if you give any excuses this time, your not going to hear the end of it. btw, does anyone know if any other clubs etc would have something going on the same day? guess we'll have to search around.

feel free to bring whatever cars, it doesn't have to be subaru.

the problem is the hours that it is light out. i wouldnt want a whole bunch of subarus flying around bear mountain....in the dark. thats asking for animals to appear in the middle of the road. so it would have to be while its light. its a shame that its not the summer, because than we could plan it even at 7 and it would be light tiil 9.

anymore ideas?

Wrx2nv, your going to have to show me how your car does the twisties. I have a feeling with my car your going to hear alot of tire squeeeeeling.

And i'll have to invite my dad out since he is a rex owner as well and never goes to any meets or anything. (maybe joe can inspire him to modify the car) too bad he'd rather modify the house

should i ask other groups, as in my old dtmpower crew/bimmer forums?

also do we need permission for this sort of thing? or can we all just show up. if you've done this before, just let me know. heck maybe we should get a paintless dent removal guy come as well. im sure there are quite a few scoobies with some winter drift dings.

Suggestion... maybe Fuddruckers or something or Route 4... has a huge back parking lot and has a bar inside as well.
