Smile need old scooby to rally on farm which one

Now I'm really hooked bought wrx it's beautiful and I'm searching the papers for a old subaru to rally race on my mom's farm. Get back to being a kid like when I used to ride dirt bikes. Finnally got some money in my 30's and want to have fun. What's the best old scoobie under 2k to play with maybe fix up a little but for cheap learn about cars more ect.. . I saw a legacy wagon 5spd. I really want a brat but I guess thats tough. Please advise if any subaru oldheads are listening.

Do you have access to a decent amount of private dirt near Philly?? If you (or your mom) are willing to host a "testing" session, you can drive a 300HP Celica Alltrac, a 240HP Golf with a 6-speed dogbox, and a few other toys.

I got two locations in mind one is a 100 + industrial site that my Co. might get use of the other is an old farm in chester co. But I got to Know the Law first and Liability. I can have someone run into a tree or some **** and sue me for broke. Killing myself is okay but if someone else gets hurt that's copletely different. Also property is overrun with weed and brush so any paint job will be scratched apart.

Well, figure out if you want to try it and if you can make it work. Liability is a valid concern, but we're all big boys--we'll sign something if need be.

Check out my web site at www.rallystuff.com. The Celica lives in West Chester, so Chester county is cool. Brad, the Golf driver, has a temp page at www.rallyhawk.com. The same shop we use in West Chester also services a ProRally Porsche 914-6. There are MANY rally teams within an hour or so of Philly that would be happy to trade drives/rides for the use of private testing grounds.

The key for testing is having at least 1/4 to 1/2 mile of reasonably smooth surface--dirt/gravel road or grass--that nobody minds if it gets rutted-up.
