Default If i get an STi shortblock...what else needs to be changed?

So i was going to be getting another ej22t to replace mine...but there are all these sales going on for STi shortblocks. Is there anything else needed to do that swap. With the ej22t it was a direct swap and all that was needed to change was the shortblock and i cuold run with everything else from the original ej25. Thanks for any help!

as far as I know the only thing you need is the STI water crossover pipe to clear the second crankcase breather on the block. But some people, I think white2.5rs, modified their stock water pipe to work.

the STI pipe is only about 100ish

What happened to your ej22t block by the way? Just want to replace it or did the engine fail? Just curious....

Good luck

if u use wrx pipes ull need
wrx xmember
wrx uppipe+spacer
wrx dp
possibly a wrx exhaust
yes the heads will work i recommend new springs+retainers <stronger, not just new>
wrx WP+thermostat cap <not sure if u can get away w/ just the thermostat cap>
a wrx wagon front sway <not sure if u need the endlinks for that or for your 99>

To answer your questions, Yes.
Just make sure you prepare your N/A heads for boost.
