Default Brakes? Problems with ABS?

Reading other forums, in particular the warranty and recall one, I see some areas with the STX and Baja regarding ABS and Bumpy roads.......Says that it is not tuned correct........causing a loss of braking on uneven roads

The 2005 even incorporates this warning of sorts into their brochure or data sheet...though I have not seen it......

Has anybody experienced any problems braking?

They say it occurs more in everyday routine stops versus
hard stops........

I have somewhat noticed it. The brakes would become mushy (all the way to the floor) and the car would just try to gently stop. If I did it a second time it would go halfway and then the car would stop on a dime. Keep in mind this is only around 20 mph and has only happened on a few occasions. WHen I drive 40 to 60 the car will always stop on a dime. I never tried stopping hard at 70+ but I think it would be the same

There is another problem with this if there is a recall........They can not reprogram the ABS with a reflash because it is incorportated into the main unit somehow.........so the whole unit would have to be replaced...........

If there are alot of people complaining about this I may opt for an extended warranty........I have never got this but would if this seems to be a problem area that SOA does not address.....

If memory serves me correct the ABS systems are very expensive to replace....
