Are you planning on adding a turbo? If so the common ones are Boost, EGT, and Fuel Pressure. If you have the room oil temp is useful if you race the car.

When you say downpipe, are you referring to the headers? Downpipes are usually associated with turbos, but you say you are a lightly modified NA car...

I have similar mods, and haven't added any guages. I probably won't either unless I add a turbo, cams or some other way to increase power by a significant margin. I feel that the stock systems can handle the 10-20 hp that the intake, exhaust, pulley, etc. gave me. I have no proof of this other than my mileage is the same now, and the car runs fine

YMMV,

I'd install an Oil Temp, Oil Pressure and EGT (Pyrometer)gauge in mine. In fact, I plan on doing just that some point in the future whenever I get my hands on one of those gauge pods. Oil temperature is a much better and more accurate way of monitoring your engine temperature. And of course, a oil pressure gauge is far superior to an 'idiot light'. It's nice to actually see what kind of pressure you're getting. As you probably know, EGTs play an important role in determining whether the engine is running rich or lean, so having a gauge would be real handy for tuning purposes. You could always install a clock, or voltmeter or something like that too. In any case, I'd at least get the oil pressure and temperature gauges. Those would be of the most benefit IMO, unless you're going to have a seriously tuned car when you'd need more vital information.

Make sure to get a high pressure oil gauge capable of displaying 150psi.
