Default Truck Tool Box

The storage is the biggest headache for me... The car seats (2) are permanently planted in the back seat area. The bed cover is not an option for me as my mountain bike is on the bed at least twice a week. Shopping means either to go alone (which makes the Wife unhappy), or to leave the stuff on the back, which forces me to go home in between the shopping. The truck bed tool box is one of the few options to take, although I canít bolt down the box permanently on the bed, only to make the Home Depot run an impossible task.

Wal-Mart tool box (20 bucks) with 2 Yakima wind faring stays (I found them in my junk box, thus fully depreciated), bolted on the bike rack does the job quite well.

Since the box is narrow (14 x 35), I can reconfigure the arrangements, if I want to.

And it won'd interfer with the bikes:

If anyone came up with better box (water proof and theaf proof), please post!!

Nice job. Great idea for those sweaty clothes that I don't wanna pitch in the back seat after a ride.

Wow that is great.

I've been looking for a way to add some storage back there and so i added one of those hard plastic moving boxes for office supplies (the see thru kind with a zigzag locking top) to the back .

Your idea is way better and looks like it belongs there.

Thnx Hatake and keep up the good work
