ea82 manuals

can anyone recommend a good manual for an 87 gl/gl10? i have a haynes that is decent, but the parts about the ea82 are added to the end as an addendum and are not very complete. i want to completely overhaul my ea82t, and would like a nice detailed set of instructions, diagrams, torque specs, etc...

HTKYSA is not really that useful for the turbo cars .

On'y thing thats really good for the turbo motors is an FSM or maybe a bentley's

do the FSMs cover only a specific model and a specific year? for instance, will it cover just the 87 GL/GL10? are they usually readily available at the dealer, and are they pricey??

Each one covers a specific year

For example, my 88 FSM covers all 88 EA82 cars except the XT

I no longer have an 88. I have an 87, but the differences between the 87 and 88 model years is negligible

As far as price goes, it just depends on where you get it. I got mine used and in great shape for $40 ($30+shipping)

I have seen them go for over $200 as well.

The pubs for my 90 loyale were broken down into 5 volumes. The engine/mechanical volume cost me $60 plus shipping. If you are going to do a complete rebuild, FSM is going to help a lot.
