Default Congratulations!

The car will definitely put a permagrin on your face everytime you drive it

Now I gotta ask though.... did you consider the Saab 9-2X before you bought the WRX?

well i just couldnt bring myself to look at anything else, been in love since 92.
the only thing that sucks is that i have a loaner until they get mine to the lot.
only one problem, they didnt put gas in the loaner, got of the lot and ran out of gas at the corner of golf and 59, had to sit in the rain for a hour waiting for them to bring me gas, i got it on tuesday, owell.

probably nobody cares, but my wife and I just got a 9-2x (instead of the WRX). I would have preferred the WRX for performance purposes, but as it'll be used in a more family type setting (we've got 2 little ones), the smoother handling was preferable for the wife/kids (though I love me a stiff, sporty ride...in cars and otherwise!), and the leather option is a MUST if kids'll be in the car. so much easier to wipe leather off, than try to unsoak whatever, out of cloth...

anyway, we're lovin it so far!
Funny thing is I had a similar experience to OvrClkdPmp -
had to wait almost 2 weeks for our 9-2 to be delivered. in the meantime they gave us a demo vehicle that had about a gallon of gas in it! luckily I noticed before I ended up stranded...

call around, find another dealer with it on the lot. Chances are they'll give you the same deal.

Congratulations on the '04 WRX Wagon. You will love it as I love my WR Blue '04 WRX Wagon. Recomendation, change out those sucky RE92's for a better All Season like the Continental ContiExtremeContacts or Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires. You will be even more happy. I did that and killed the DRL's (I hate them) and have put just over 15k miles on it. Quiksan, I would love to see your 9-2X sometime. Be sure to come over to the meets if you can. I should be there around 9:30. Congratulations on the 9-2X purchase.

thanks for the invite - unfortunately I'm in Denver, CO. I can do the next best thing and post pics though.

man it sucks waiting for that new car. good luck overclkedpmp. hope you find a way to get it there sooner. I was baffled, how in this information age, the dealer couldn't tell me the timeframe for when the truck was supposed to arrive. What the heck is GPS for?! (sorry, computer nerd in my coming out)

a co-worker has had one of those new Lotus Elise' on order since LAST October...still waiting. sounds like it MAY be here in November. I can't fathom waiting 13 months for a car...

Yer nuts. Although, until you *really* start modding it, a new car is less headache than a woman.
